Easter - The Resurrection On the weekend, we just celebrated Easter. Jesus died for our sins on Good Friday, and then rose again on Easter Sunday - the Resurrection. The Resurrection is when Jesus came back to life after he died on the cross. It shows us that God’s love is stronger than death and that new life is always possible. Holy Week This week is Holy Week - one of the most significant seasons in our Liturgical Calendar. Starting yesterday with Palm Sunday, the events leading up to Jesus' arrest and crucifixion take place, ending with his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Palm Sunday This Sunday is Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday is a Christian holiday that celebrates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem , marking his role as a humble, saving King just days before his crucifixion. Celebrated the Sunday before Easter, it initiates Holy Week. Common traditions include blessing and distributing palm branches, processions, and hearing the story of the Passion.
