Easter - The Resurrection On the weekend, we just celebrated Easter. Jesus died for our sins on Good Friday, and then rose again on Easter Sunday - the Resurrection. The Resurrection is when Jesus came back to life after he died on the cross. It shows us that God’s love is stronger than death and that new life is always possible. Because Jesus rose, we can have hope and joy. Dear God, Thank you that Jesus rose to new life. Help us to live with hope, joy, and love each day. Am

A Prayer for Holy Week Loving God, As we journey through Holy Week, help us to pause and remember Jesus’ love for us. Open our hearts to be kind, courageous, and compassionate, just as He showed us. Guide us to bring hope to others, and to walk gently and wisely each day. May we grow closer to You as we prepare for the joy of Easter. Amen.

Holy Week This week is Holy Week - one of the most significant seasons in our Liturgical Calendar. Starting yesterday with Palm Sunday, the events leading up to Jesus' arrest and crucifixion take place, ending with his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Palm Sunday This Sunday is Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday is a Christian holiday that celebrates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem , marking his role as a humble, saving King just days before his crucifixion. Celebrated the Sunday before Easter, it initiates Holy Week. Common traditions include blessing and distributing palm branches, processions, and hearing the story of the Passion.
