"Love God, Love People"
Love others as well as you love yourself.” (Matthew 22: 39)
Jesus gives us a really important message: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” But who is our neighbour? It’s not just the person living next door! It’s the people in our classroom, on the playground, at home and even those we don't know very well.
Jesus wants us to treat others with the same kindness, care and respect that we would like to receive. That means including someone who feels left out, standing up for someone being treated unfairly and choosing kind words instead of hurtful ones. Every day, we have the chance to make someone's world a little brighter.
So here's the challenge: don't just say you're kind. Show it! Because even the smallest act of love can make a BIG difference!
This week, be a kindness champion! Look for someone who needs a friend, invite someone to join in and stand up for anyone being treated unfairly. Don't wait for someone else to make a difference. Be the one who starts!
