Prayer for the First Day of Term 4

Loving God,

We thank you for the opportunity to begin a new term together.

As we return to school today, fill our hearts with hope, courage and enthusiasm

for the learning and experiences that lie ahead.

Bless our students, teachers and families as we work, learn and grow together this term. Help us to show kindness to one another, to persevere when challenges arise,

and to recognise your presence in our daily lives.

We especially pray for our Year 12 students as they begin

their final two weeks of school before exams.

Thank you for the gifts, talents and contributions they have shared

with our community throughout their years at school.

Give them confidence in their abilities, peace in times of stress,

and the determination to finish this important chapter with pride and gratitude.

May they know that they are supported by their teachers, families, friends and by you.

As a school community, help us to continue Growing in Hope,

trusting that you walk beside us each day and guide us towards a bright future.

We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
