Year 5-12: Thursday Week 6, Term 1

Friday 8th March is the International Women's Day. This is a global day celebrating the wonderful achievements of women, in many different ways.

We celebrate women this day and think of all the women in the world who don't have many opportunities or feel included.

Together we can work towards equality and thank the women in our lives who do so many wonderful things.

Pray the sign of the cross...

Lord, help me work towards peace: Bless all women who work to bring peace to their communities, their homes and their hearts. Give them strength to continue to achieve great things. Where there is hatred, let me sow love: We pray for all women who face hard times, inequality and unfairness. Amen
