Let us pray that our love for God will be expressed in our eagerness to do good.

Lord God, make your love and grace the foundation of our lives.

Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Scripture Reading

A Reading from the Letter of St Paul to the Romans (8:27-28)

All of our thoughts are known to God.

He can understand what is in the mind of the Spirit, as the Spirit prays for God's people.

We know that God is always at work for the good of everyone who loves him.

They are the ones God has chosen for his purpose.

The word of the Lord.

All: Thanks be to God.

Our reading reminds us that all our thoughts are known to God.

Today, we are going to calm our minds and thoughts so we can live as the best people we can be.

Take a few minutes to follow this calm breathing technique, then go out and have a wonderful day!
