The Season of Lent

We are now around halfway through the season of Lent.

Lent is a time of thinking about how we can help others, to give up things that we like, and to pray more. This is to help us become closer to God.

Prayer for Lent

Together we pray the sign of the cross:

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Lord, please show me what I should give up for Lent.

And when I've given it up, remind me to pray to You instead.

To thank You, to love You, to hear from You

each and every day in Lent.

Amen.
