Lent: Focus on Compassion - Caring for Others

"Be kind and compassionate to one another."

Ephesians 4:32

Compassion means noticing when someone is sad or hurt and wanting to help.

Mary MacKillop cared deeply for others. She listened, helped and showed love through her actions.

Lent reminds us to look around and care for the people God has placed in our lives.

"Remember we are but travellers here"

Mary MacKillop, 1866

How can you tell when someone needs help?

How does it feel when someone shows you kindness?

What is one way you can show compassion this week?

Write or draw a card for someone who might need cheering up.

Say a prayer for someone who is having a hard time.
