Lent - Focus on HOPE

"I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to give you hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11

Lent begins with hope. Hope means believing that good things are possible, even when life feels hard.

St Mary MacKillop believed that every child deserved hope to learn, to grow and to feel loved. She trusted God, even when things were difficult.

During Lent, we remember that God is always with us and wants good things for us.

"God is so good - we ought to cling to Him with love and hope."

St Mary MacKillop, 1873

This week, choose to speak kind words with other people.
