Prayer for International Women’s Day - Sunday March 8th

Loving God,

We thank you for the women and girls in our lives —for mothers, grandmothers, sisters, teachers, friends, and leaders who care for us, guide us, and inspire us.

Help us to recognise the gifts, strength, and dignity you have given to every woman and girl.

May we always treat one another with respect, kindness, and fairness.

Give us courage to stand up for what is right, to speak out against injustice, and to build a world where everyone is valued and safe.

Bless the women of the past who paved the way, the women of today who lead with hope, and the girls of tomorrow who will shape our future.

May we grow in compassion, confidence, and love. Amen.
