Prayer for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary

Loving God,

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption,

when Mary, the mother of Jesus, was taken into heaven to be with You forever.

We thank You for Mary’s life—her faith, her courage, and her love.

Help us to follow her example by saying “yes” to You every day,

just like she did.

Mary, our Mother, pray for us, guide us, and help us grow closer to Jesus.

Amen.
